You’ve voiced your opinion and we heard you! You can now pay your rent by Visa or Mastercard (either debit or credit). Paying your rent on time just got a whole lot easier. Simply present your form of payment when your rent is due,sign the document,and you’re on your way! There will be a 5% fee for this convenience and all transactions will be final. Bring your credit card/debit card when you pay rent next time!
We understand that during the summer,it gets HOT in the afternoon. And with the tropical storms we get in the afternoon,things can get a little wet. With all of this in mind,we will be IN the office from 9am to 12 noon on Monday through Friday. We will remain open until 5pm on the first of every month. This is not only to conserve energy,but also to be free to visit other properties in the afternoon. We are ALWAYS available from 9am to 5pm via telephone or texting. We may not be in the office,but we are available to you by phone. Just give us a call. If we don’t answer leave a message and we’ll get back to you during normal business hours. PLEASE do not knock on my personal home door for information or assistance. Calling would be ideal. I’ll come to you the moment I get your call when I receive it after 12noon. Enjoy your summer!!!
Be assured that we are not “spying”on you. We use this technology to keep record of any property damage that may occur. And,with the “eye in the sky”(or side of the building) any potential thieves will think twice about stepping foot onto the property.
Going on from NOW until March 15 –pay $399 and you can move into one of our two bedroom/1 and a half bath townhomes! Your personal credit must be approved and your background checks should show no prior evictions. The $399 move in special does not include electricity and water. These utilities are not provided to you. To obtain keys to the apartment,you must have electricity and water turned on in your name. No more than one family per unit. A “family”generally consists of two adults and two children. Multiple occupancy will raise your rent per month. Ask manager for details at time of inquiry. Move in special does not apply to those gaining government assistance to help pay their rent and/or bills.
A new tenant was moving in today,and I was noticing the movers doing their job moving her family belongings into the new apartment. They not only were very courteous to all of us around…they were FAST! They unloaded a huge semi-sized trailer in just about an hour. For those of you asking us who we recommend by way of movers…we recommend Affordable Movers. They don’t have a website yet…but they do have contact information. Be sure to let them know Chuck and Majestic Oaks sent you.
We ALL have some control over who are neighbors are. Refer a friend and you can earn $50 on the spot once your friend signs a year lease! Not only do you make cash…you get to have a neighbor you already know. It’s a win-win situation! Of course,there are rules. Your referral must qualify and must sign a year lease for you to be eligible. Your friend must also state that you referred them at the time of lease signing. I’m not a mind reader. If your friend doesn’t mention you,you don’t get the $50 in cash. Be sure to alert your friends to say your name. A lot! Your rent must be up to date and all deposits paid before we hand you $50.
It’s that time of the year when you’ll be running your air conditioning a lot. Remember to do some simple home care to keep your air running smoothly and efficiently. The air compressor (the machinery outside on your back porch) needs to be clear of all items. Nothing should be around your unit. Placing items on top of your air compressor makes your air conditioner work harder. Inside of your home, there is an intake vent in the kitchen right under your thermostat. Keep this area free of items so air can flow freely to your air handler. Change your air filter regularly! This is important. A dirty air filter creates a blocked path. Air filters can be purchased at any department store,grocery store,and even at local pharmacies in the area. The size of your air filter is 18 x 18 x 1. Majestic Oaks management does not supply air filters. Your thermostat runs on batteries. If you haven’t changed the batteries in your thermostat lately,now is the time to do it before you forget. All thermostats require two AA batteries. Keeping the air intake area free of items that block air flow,changing your air filter regularly,replacing your thermostat batteries….all of these things take about 2 minutes to do and saves you a big air conditioning headache in the future. Be kind to your air conditioner and it’ll supply you a summer full of ice cold air!
There are times when repairs need to be done. We get onto your repairs fast and efficiently. There are three ways you can submit a repair request: 1. Write down your repair needs on a sheet of paper and slip it through the property manager’s door. 2. Call 352-583-3622 and talk to the property manager or leave a voice mail to be returned. 3. Send an email to us by clicking on the email button to your right or by clicking here. We will schedule your repair for the next available repair day. We schedule your repairs for Tuesdays and Thursdays of EVERY week. Please notify us if you will be home for the repair. We will not do repairs if your dog is roaming freely in your apartment without you being there to control him/her. So don’t be shy! If you’ve got something that needs repaired…we’ll get right on it. Also of note….Bruce is not limited to just repairs of your apartment. If you would like something installed (such as a screendoor or a ceiling fan or closet shelves) he will be happy to install them for a fee. Simply buy the product you would like installed and contact us for a convenient time for both you and Bruce to install it. Please be sure to properly measure the product and the space it will be installed before calling on Bruce to install it. Contacting us and scheduling your repairs only refers to those items that can be scheduled for the following Tuesday or Thursday. Emergencies are handled immediately!
It’s called MAY DAY! Not sure why since we don’t have a JUNE DAY or a JULY DAY…but there it is anyway. All rents will be collected at 5:00 pm today. So please have your rents ready. Remember…any rent not paid today will be subject to late fees. See you at 5:00pm!! Did you know that the management office at Majestic Oaks Apartments offers services? They’re available for our tenants and for those in the neighborhood that just happen to need us.
